We at Bodyline Health International are a small group of health professionals based in Adelaide and the Barossa Valley.

When you make an appointment, not only will you receive a high standard of treatment coupled with warm and welcoming service, you’ll also feel comfortable knowing you’re in great hands (literally!) when you come to see a friendly therapist.

We’ve been providing pain-management solutions for individuals and groups since 2004, and we’re passionate about giving you holistic, long-lasting relief from your pain.

We also like to take the time to understand the underlying cause of whatever it is that’s causing you pain – so you can receive a treatment plan that addresses your individual health concerns.

Our health practitioners hold Diploma level qualifications and are nationally accredited. We are also members of Australia’s leading professional massage association, the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT).

We have great relationships with other local health professionals, including doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, fitness instructors and podiatrists. We’ll happily recommend a suitable healthcare practitioner to suit your treatment plan if necessary.

If you’re looking for a professional, high quality remedial or sports massage in Adelaide and the Barossa Valley, give us a call on 08 8418 3812 or contact us today.

Holly Hicks, Founder

The Founder of Bodyline Health International,Holly got her foot in the health industry door via the changerooms at Waybacks Football Club in Port Lincoln.

Not put off by a roomful of sweaty players, Holly took her passion to Adelaide, finished her Diploma in Remedial Massage, and learnt from a range of health practitioners before opening the doors to Bodyline Health International in 2004.

With over 14 years’ experience, Holly is still as passionate as ever about collaborative care and loves working in conjunction with other allied health professionals to gain the best possible outcome for each of her patients.

When asked about staying healthy, Holly’s immediate response is, “Stay active! Our bodies are designed to move. Find every opportunity to move and stretch. Even if you don’t notice a difference instantly, the payoff will be long term.”

She’s certainly no pretzel, but she practices what she preaches in her popular Stretch Therapy Classes!

Enrico Massidda

Enrico is the newest member of the Bodyline team, beginning in December 2014. Enrico has a wealth of experience and knowledge, not just as a fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, but also from 10 years of hands-on experience as a Physiotherapist from Rome, Italy.

After making the trip to Australia almost two years ago, Enrico not only received his Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy, but is now also lecturing young massage therapists in-training at the Natural Health Academy in Adelaide (NHAA) while awaiting his full Physiotherapist qualifications.

Expert in all things remedial therapies & musculo-skeletal, Enrico’s always up for a challenge, and loves solving problems for his patients. Through his use of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage and trigger point therapy (amongst others!), Enrico will do his best to get you back on your feet.

When he’s not lecturing in Remedial Massage or treating in the clinic, Enrico’s perfect day consists of time out for surfing & working with sporting clubs, especially Rugby teams. With a soft spot for Rugby Union, he hopes to be out on the fields again as a massage therapist AND player soon.

You can meet Enrico at our South Terrace clinic on Mondays and Fridays. To book, give us a call on 8418 3812 or book online here.

Andrew Lim

Andrew is a Stretch Therapy Teacher, having trained closely with Kit Laughlin. He has a thirst for knowledge and advancement, which he is able to communicate with clarity. Having had positive mind/body experiences and progress via Stretch Therapy, he is able to teach some of the deeper aspects of the system. In particular, he has explored fear and self-imposed limitations and how these can be worked through in a controlled and safe manner, from our current state. Join him in creative exploration of movement.

Andrew says, “I am interested in inspiring and being inspired. I seek a life filled with movement, play and stillness. Mind and body elevation is a passion and I have complementary experience in gymnastic strength conditioning as an adult, animal behaviour/training, classical guitar and field hockey. I hope to draw on the wisdom of my teachers and continue to learn. In my Stretch Therapy practice, I want to help and join others in increased awareness and physical improvement, for a more joyful and free life.”

Hayley Yeomans

An avid runner Hayley is one of Bodyline Health’s Remedial Massage Therapists. Not only does she currently live in Adelaide but she was brought up there too often walking her dog around the local area she is a familiar face.

Each morning will find her blasting away the cobwebs with a good run. Setting herself up for the rest of the day. Day’s that can be spent massaging competitors at sporting events, such as City to Bay or Triathlons, or working with athletes that include dancers to dragon boat rowers, volleyball players to runners and many other athletes besides. She loves to learn new methods that she can pass on the benefits of to her clients.

The hardest thing she has ever done also involved running. Originally training for City to Bay a seemingly innocent conversation with a patient inspired her to take on the bigger challenge of the half marathon with only four months running training behind her.

Hayley knew that she was following the right career path the first time she helped someone get over their pain through massage. The reward of knowing that her client is no longer experiencing the pain they came in with is a feeling she loves. She loves to help and uses all of her skills to ease the patients discomfort and help them get back to their normal activities. As part of her aspiration to assist those in pain through massage she continues to learn and keep up to date with new techniques. This allows her to always be aware of the best way to treat a particular injury.
She’s not all about running though and enjoys cooking too. The winter months will often find her, glass of wine in hand, concocting fabulous meals or trying out new recipes. But no matter what the weather she will continue to run in preparation for her next big challenge.

Amanda Sandow

Amanda completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2009, and has since spent 5 years working in the SANFL for Woodville West Torrens and the Port Adelaide Magpies A-grade teams. She’s seen her fair share of up and coming legends, as well and AFL players returning to the SANFL.

Amanda is a Tanunda local, and has lived here almost her whole life, except for her time in with the SANFL. She currently is working with the Tanunda Football Club teams as a Sports Trainer and Massage Therapist, as well as the Tanunda Lutheran Aged Care Home, helping to care for over 100 patients.

With a huge background in sporting injuries, treatment and prevention, Amanda loves a good challenge, as well as helping every day people overcome any injuries or simply maintaining their good health.

Vicki Patterson

Nuriootpa is where Vicki’s heart lies, but that hasn’t stopped her training all over Australia. A highly skilled remedial massage therapist Vicki has studied in Sydney, Melbourne, and Darwin, to name just a few.

Also a runner who loves the adrenaline rush she can be found regularly pounding Tanunda, where she now lives.

After taking her first practical exams, at the very start of her training, Vicki had no doubt she was on the right path. Finding she obtained great results connecting with patients muscular systems she set out to learn all she could.

For 25 years Vicki lived in Loxton where she ran her own remedial massage business. Working closely with Chiropractors and Physiotherapists, she began the business from scratch and brings all she learnt to Bodyline Health.

Happy to be back in Nuriootpa, where she was born and bred, Vicki works hard to keep up to date with new techniques and skills. Having already taken courses in Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, polarity and meridian points, as well as many others, she uses them all as a skilled therapist, to her clients benefit.

A great communicator, she’s quick to understand the needs of her clients and gets to work, using all of her skill as a remedial massage therapist, to ease their discomfort.

Always seeking out new techniques Vicki plans to do more training to expand her knowledge. Whether learning from courses or books she will always be soaking up something new.

Elyse

As the Relationship Manager, of Bodyline Health, Elyse is responsible for their friendly customer service. If you have a question she is bound to have the answers. Having grown up with her younger brother in Adelaide she now lives in the Western Suburbs.

Whether it’s organising towels and supplies or planning events and schedules everything she does is to make sure Bodyline Health runs smoothly. Often working behind the scenes she works hard to ensure your visit is stress free and comfortable. She’s also quite handy and can fix just about anything.

Not afraid of hard work Elyse braved University life to get her degree. Working as she studied added pressure but the effort wasn’t wasted and she uses her skills daily. Her experience shows not only in great customer service but in the design elements too.

Elyse knew that she was where she wanted to be the day she received a professional remedial massage from Hayley. She had been suffering from back and neck problems and needed help. Now she is addicted to getting a massage at least once a month. She brings all of the elements of her degree in Design in Visual Communication to her position and can add flare to anything from a web page to flyers, flags to signs. Whatever the company needs in terms of design she’s got it covered.

Elyse can often be found reading and watching movies. She also makes sure she keeps healthy by practicing Yoga and going for long walks, often accompanied by her dogs. A bit of a traveller she has explored Lorne, Melbourne, Indonesia and Europe and looks forward to discovering more places to visit in the future.
